i'm really loving the pictures of your vacation, iceland looks beautiful!!! the horse farm looked awesome! i think i may have found my next vacation spot!

thanks for taking us along on a virtual vacation with you! It looks like an amazing trip and I'm intrigued by the idea of a self-drive tour... must do some more research on that concept.... :)

Love these posts. I also noticed the two comforters on the bed in your hotel and thought it was a great idea. Someone in my house is a terrible covers hog and this could be the secret to marital bliss.

Rebekah, I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed seeing your pictures and reading about your trip. Your photography is just gorgeous. Iceland is definitely getting added to the "want to visit" list. Do you print off many of your pictures? They would be stunning in a photo book.

That is a awesome bathroom view. LOL! It would make getting up in the morning more bearable.

oh wow, i don't even know where to begin - can i just say that i loved it all?!?! what a wonderful vacation, thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Thank you so much for sharing it with us - amazing! Never ever thought about going to Iceland and yep, now I want to go...what a fun trip!

I really enjoyed following along on your trip, only wished I was there to experience it myself!

Machen und Tun

great pictures, thanks so much for sharing! i really want to got there, too...

Wow, I really enjoyed your tour of Iceland. It looks like it was a great trip and makes me want to go. Your yarn is great, too. I can hardly wait to see what you make with it. You're such a wonderful knitter!

Yarny Days

I just caught up with all your posts. Such great pictures. Makes me want to pack some bags and head out for a vacation!

You clinched it for me -- Iceland MUST go on my list of places I want to visit someday. And as a professional pianist myself, I had to check out the cute website -- loved it! I can also relate to your husband, who actually reminds me of my own brother -- my brother and I are animal magnets and love to pet all of the cats/dogs/whatever on all of our trips. Heck, last year we even brought home a furry souvenir from Minnesota -- our cat, Sally. I had a hard time leaving all the kitties behind in Italy where they are ALL over the place! ;)

Thanks for letting me travel vicariously with you!

PS - Glad you were able to find some veggie meals while travelling. One of the girls from Quebec that I knew when I was in Russia nearly starved. But the fruit juice over there was incredible...

it looks like a trip straight from heaven! fantastic!

I was blog surfing and found your blog, and I'm so glad I did! I lived in Iceland when I was a child, while my dad was stationed at Keflavik. My brothers and I have so many good memories of living there, including the scratchy wool socks, hats and sweaters! I was so excited to see your photos. Of course, so much has changed but it still looks great! I will keep checking back! Thank you for brightening my day!

The idea of two comforters on the bed sounds great!
all the photos of your trip are amazing, many thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed following along on your trip just I'm wishing have one like that with Alex!

i'm so excited to have just found your blog! i was surfing through flickr to get some inspiration on a quilt i'm brainstorming for.. and came across your gorgeous plain spoken quilt - thennnnn i saw that you've been to iceland! we just started to save up for a trip to iceland next year 2012 - we've never been and its one of my dream vacations, as an aspiring photographer. i'm going to read through all of your iceland posts and would LOVE any tips you can give me!!
