Absolutely gorgeous photos! Sounds like you had a great time. But I'm getting tired just reading this -- I'm impressed you manage to squeeze all this into such a short amount of time!

sounds like a great trip - Europe in the fall has to be wonderful!

Wonderful pictures! My little sister went to Paris a few years ago and she kept going on about the croissants lol

How exciting to see things in person that you have only seen in books etc. Must have felt surreal to actually be there. That is pretty crazy that you saw your friend over there. Thanks for sharing with us. Maybe one day I will be the one seeing them in person.

fabulous pictures!! I can't believe you squeezed all of that in either!!! (thanks for your email, btw! I really appreciate the quilting tips!)

How fun - I love the posts and all your fabulous pictures! You sure did squeeze a lot in - and that is so funny/weird to run into someone you know in another country - that must have been so fun!

I wish I had snuck into your suitcase. :-) I only had two days in Paris with someone who was so sick of museums that not much got seen. Glad you're making the best of it! And taking pictures of people who are waiting to see the Mona Lisa and likely have no idea why they are waiting to see the Mona Lisa is a whole lotta fun.

i am loving living vicariously through your wonderful wonderful pictures!!

Love your photos and how wonderful to have gotten to see so much. I too would have crammed as much in 48 hrs as possible, how many chances do you get to go to Europe!

I am SO enjoying these pics. How funny that you met your friend at the metro - although they used to say if you sat long enough at a cafe in Paris, you'd see everyone you knew! I can't believe they have everyone staying so far back from the Mona Lisa. I think you did a fabulous job, seeing as much as you did!

oh, this brings back memories of our trip to paris five years ago! i can't believe you squeezed all of that into two days. you must have been exhausted! we did a lot of the same things (and a lot on foot) and we also swore that the "next time" we'd slow down and just enjoy the atmosphere. maybe someday we'll learn our lesson.

your pictures display so much of what you are cool! looks like an amazing trip.

Well you do know a Napolean complex is all about size! He's where it all started. What a busy 48 hours oh my gosh! And I am only a teeny tiny bit(hugely)jealous!

More fabulous pictures. Who knew using a tripod could be illegal!

Wow, it looks like you had an amazing time. I'm totally in love with your Eiffel tower picture. It must have been an amazing site. And all the food, yummy! I really want to go to Paris. Hopefully I can convince my husband to go after I show him this post!

Delurking to say that the Musee d'Orsay was my favorite, too! Paris was so fun. Someday I'll have to go again. :o)

thank you so much for taking us all along on your trip recap- it's so wonderful to be able to live vicariously through your wonderful pictures! (now if only the pictures could also somehow transmit the taste of pan du chocolat...)
