Amy

I needed a little push also so I joined in as well. I'm looking forward to seeing what your quilt progress.

Karen Bosch

I always am drawn to the vintage reprduction fabrics at the stores and have a stash of them myself. I usually get a very pastel blend when I use them, but I love how adding the orange into the mix changes things! Can't wait to see what you do!

montague

those fabrics are going to make a great combo!!!

Cami

I love fabric! I really like the patterns you have chosen, I think they will work great. I'm really wanting to do this quilt along too but I need to wait until all of my quilting stuff is out of storage. The days are draging on with out my sewing machine. I really really like that light yellow one in the center of the picture. Super cute!

Melissa

I love these prints! They are gorgeous. I can't wait to see the finished quilt.

Valerie

That's going to be one lovely quilt. I look forward to seeing it in progress.

Great collection of prints! It will be beautiful :)

I have been on a buying freeze, too. But it makes you really appreciate and realize that you have such a great collection of fabrics or yarn. I shop my stash yarn and have really been using up a lot which is my goal.

Rachel

I like your selection. The orange fabric with blue flowers is my favorite. I considered playing along with the quilt along. Then I decided I had too many WIP to start another one. Perhaps I'll go back in a month when life is a bit calmer. I admire your spending freeze. Good luck!

Delicious choices! (And good luck on the shopping fast.) I love to see people's color choices so thanks for sharing.

Catherine

Love it! Now you have a new sweater for oh so much less cash-ola and the pride that goes along with it ;o)

amandajean

it's going to be a fun quilt!

I am quilting along as well...and loving it so far. The fabrics you've chosen are great...I'm completely smitten with them and if I wasn't trying to cut back on fabric shopping I'd have similar prints in my hot little hands...

erica

I can't wait to see your quilt. You have chosen a very delicious palette!

I love Oh Fransson! I haven't been there in a while and it looks like I have been missing some great stuff. I love how thorough she is with all of her tutorials.

I admire your choice for lent. I can certainly understand the urge to stop in stores on the way too and from other chores. My shopping addiction has been drastically reduced since having three kids, and even though Marlena is at school, I still have the other two with me at all times, and there just isn't anything I need badly enough to tempt tantrum fate. One problem, our local fabric store has a play area for the kids which makes it waaay too easy for me to drop in at least once a month.

You picked out some really lovely fabrics, Rebekah
