Kit quilts don't usually appeal to me, but this one is wonderful. Maybe it's the hand-dyed fabrics, but I like the offset square-in-a-square, too. And the quilting reminds me of the kind my mom did on the two quilts I inherited from her. A great job.

The texture on it is phenomenal. I have to ask as well - what batting did you use to make it pucker up like that even with prewashing the fabrics?
