It's looking good. I made this sweater this year, too. I think the fact that I had bamboo DPNs saved my sanity since I would never have been able to cope with all the needles plus their sliding around on me.

With the way this winter is dragging on into spring, you may very well get to see it used after you finish it.

Lisa

I remember when I was first knitting with DPN's - it was quite awkward. But now I really like knitting with them.

Yoked sweaters are a lot of fun - hope you enjoy that one and that you finish in time!

Cami

It is coming along nicely. I can't wait to see it finished. I think a sweater is a huge task to take on so kuddos to you. Love the new layout by the way.

Kate

Props to you for even attempting this - the thought of making a sweater is so daunting to me. i can't wait to see how it turns out!

amandajean

it's looking great!

priscilla

Looks like that will be a cute sweater...I still wonder you knitters actually "knit" a whole sweater!

amy

it's looking a-mazing!!! i am so impressed! the whole fitted thing scares the living daylights out of me :)

Catherine

Congrats on the progress. It's funny to think of Jon wearing it after I've been watching you making it for so long....

Oiyi

Yup, it was weird using DPN's in the beginning, but now it just feels natural to me.

How exciting, your first sweater!
